Sarasota City Commissioners have initiated discussions on the towing of vehicles from private parking lots in the city. This comes after numerous complaints from people who have had their cars towed from business lots. According to Sarasota Parking General Manager, Broxton Harvey, many of the complaints suggest poor signage or unfair parking restrictions. As such, the commission is exploring ways to address these concerns and ensure that towing activities are carried out in a fair and reasonable manner.
