      Robert F. Bunting, CEO and Chairman, Climate Adaptation Center, Inc.

    Robert F. Bunting, CEO and Chairman of the Climate Adaptation Center, Inc., is a versatile leader with extensive experience across private enterprise, government, and academia. As CEO of Waterstone Strategies, he has helped early-stage technology clients secure over $300 million in funding through strategic business and growth planning. Bunting has led and revitalized companies like Pathogen Systems Inc. and DigitalGlobe, where he played a crucial role in securing significant investments, including a $200 million funding from Morgan Stanley, leading to the company's NYSE listing.

    Bunting's career includes roles such as Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of the UCAR Foundation, supporting the commercialization of intellectual property from the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR). He has also worked as a Lead Forecaster for NOAA's National Weather Service and taught entrepreneurship and atmospheric science at various universities. In addition to his scientific and business acumen, Bunting has served on boards related to music and entrepreneurship, making him a well-rounded leader in both climate science and business strategy.

    Ric Kearbey is a Senior Scientist at the Climate Adaptation Center, Inc., with over two decades of experience as a meteorologist. He has built a reputation for educating the public about weather and climate issues through local and national television, earning multiple accolades for his broadcast work. His expertise has been featured on major platforms like Good Morning America and ABC’s World News Tonight, and his weather forecasts have supported events like the NFL’s Super Bowl and the PGA’s Masters Tournament.

    Ric has also contributed to climate and weather stories for television, print, and radio, including work for the Tampa Bay Times. He played a key role in launching "Our Changing Climate" at CBS – 10 Tampa Bay, an initiative aimed at informing viewers about climate change. With a passion for using drone technology to capture climate-impacted landscapes, Ric creates engaging and informative stories that highlight environmental challenges. He holds a Certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University and a B.S. in Marketing from Southern Illinois University, along with a seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society.
