• • Guest Speaker: Stacie Mason, Human Resources Director for the City of Sarasota
    Stacie Mason is currently the Human Resources Director for the City of Sarasota. She has been in the HR department with the City for over 21 years. Prior to that, she resided in the Chicago area, working for non-profit organizations for a number of years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Employment Law. Her role with the City is to oversee the various aspects of recruitment, benefits, ADA compliance, Risk Management, labor relations with the City’s two unions in addition to the oversight of two advisory boards, the Human Relations Board and the Citizens’ with Disabilities board. She enjoys living and working in Florida as she grow up in the Midwest and is happy to be away from the brutal winters and does not miss shoveling snow.
